Thank you for your interest in our enhanced voice mail system, it is designed to be a user-friendly service, providing your personal way of staying in touch. Listed below is a short description of how to access your voice mailbox. If you have any questions regarding your voice mail service, or any of our other services or pricing plans, please feel free to call us at 1-888 868-6120 or 1-606 478-9401. All forwarding will point to 478-6245 for every mailbox.
The customer will call into their box by dialing (478-6245) from the number that has voice mail activated. The system will log the user in without a pass code. If the customer calls their voice mail from a different number, they will be asked to enter the voice mailbox number and their pass code.
Ex. (6064781234) the mail box number, (0000) the default pass code.
All mail boxes have a default pass code of 0000.
After accessing the voice mail system, the user will be given instructions on how to set up the user programmable functions and retrieve or delete messages.
If the voice mailbox has the e-forward option, an email will be sent to the email address the customer provided.
If the customer has pager/phone notification activated, the voice mail system will call out to the preset pager or phone number. When calling to a pager, the system will only leave one page to notify that a message has been left. It will call a phone number until an answer is received.
Coalfields Telephone Customers
- To activate Call Forward Don't Answer: Dial *92, enter the number of rings you want before the call transfers, and then the number for the call to transfer to. EX. *92, 5, 4786245. Let the voice mail answer for the settings to confirm. To deactivate dial *93
- To activate Call Forward Busy: Dial *90, enter the number you want the call forwarded to. EX. *90, 4786245. Let the voice mail answer for the settings to confirm. To deactivate dial *91.
Appalachian Wireless Customers
- To activate No Answer Transfer: Dial *76, enter the number for voice mail (478-6245) and press send. The number of rings is predetermined by Appalachian Wireless. EX. *76, 4786245 then press send. To deactivate, *77 then press send.
- To activate Call Forward Busy: Dial *74, enter the number for voicemail (478-6245) and press send. EX. *74, 4786245 then press send. To deactivate, *75 then press send.
These codes are for Coalfields Telephone Company and Appalachian Wireless. Codes may vary with different telephone service providers.
